RAK Golf Challenge returns

The world’s up-and-coming golf stars will be here to tee-off in the second Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge. Leading the list will be England’s Jordan Smith — the inaugural tournament’s champion in 2016. The RAK 2017 Golf Challenge returns to Al Hamra Golf Club from October 25 to 28, when a 105-strong field of leading European Challenge Tour talents mixed with a sprinkling of local qualifiers and sponsors invitees will vie for glory.

“As we prepare to welcome the rising stars of European golf back to Ras Al Khaimah for the penultimate round of the 2017 European Challenge Tour, Jordan’s historic win in Germany underlines the feeder Tour’s enduring capacity to nurture outstanding talents that inevitably go on to be mainstays in the upper echelons of the professional game,” said Haitham Mattar, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, that organizes the Ras Al Khaimah 2017 Golf Challenge.
